Jess's Wedding

Weekend before last we went to Hendersonville for Jessica's Wedding. She is he 5th of the 6 of us from high school to get married. It was a beautiful ceremony and we had a great time catching up with old friends!

Go Titans Go

While we were home last weekend John and I were also able to go to the Titian's game. They played Green Bay and it was a GREAT game. The Titan's won in overtime to continue their undefeated streak!

Wedding Shower for Jess

John and I headed to Nashville last weekend for many reasons....one being Jessica's shower. Jess is the 5th of the 6 girls from High School to get married. We will be heading back next weekend for the wedding. It was great for us all to be together again. Only Jennifer didn't get to come b/c on of her little guys got strep throat! We missed you!

Pumkin Patch

Last weekend we went to a pumpkin patch with another couple in our Sunday School class & their 3 little girls. It was a cool morning, but we still had a good time. And after we all went to lunch at Red Robin..

Pumpkin Carving

So...you can't go to a pumpkin patch and not buy a pumpkin to carve. On the way home we stopped at Wal-Mart and got a carving kit. These things are AWESOME and so easy to use. See I made a ghost in a cemetery! I was proud. :-)

And of course I had to cook the seeds. The were the best I have ever had...YUMMY!!

Winery

A few weekends ago (yes I am behind in blogging) we went to Augusta, MO with some friends to a winery. John and I had never had this experience, and had a great time. The weather was perfect.

Why I went Private...

So here is the story. A few weeks ago I answered my phone at work. The caller ID showed a number that I didn't know, but it was a St. Louis area code so I answered. It was a vendor wanting to do business with my boss. I had talked to this guy a few weeks earlier and asked him to send me some information and I would pass it along. Then I would call him (that is the part they never seen to understand) once my boss had reviewed it. Well, he took it upon himself to not only google my boss (which I understand...she is the CTO of the company), but to google me. Know I know that this is happening and all, but it crosses the line when a vendor that I have NEVER met before calls to chat it up about the fact I'm not from St. Louis, my family seems to visit alot, I go to alot of baseball games, I look really young, and so on. Sorry, but I am NOT comfortable with that. So, it was a quick decision that I would block my blog from the public eyes. :-(

Fall is here...

....and I love it.

John's parents were here this weekend and we had a great time! Elaine and I did a little shopping for our upcoming New York trip. Sunday after they left I decided to take advantage of the great weather and sunshine to take some pictures. First I went to Kirkwood park....

This was in between stops and is the prettiest tree in Kirkwood right now. It sticks out so wonderfully. I love it!
Next it was on to the Farmer's Market....

So....my personal blog has been violated. For reasons that I will reveal later we are making the Robus blog private. Seems like a lot of bloggers out there are doing this now. I will explain later.

Happy Fall

I have been LOVING this weather. Sunny and cool. I am ready for the change or the season and Halloween....and weddings....and Thanksgiving...and New York City...and the Christmas. Wow, we are going to be busy the next few months. So here are the fall decorations in our house. I just love it!

This next picture is on here b/c I forgot to show the great chairs my mom got me for my bday in August. They are wicker rockers! There is one on the other side of the door too!

That is all I have people. I have my first wedding to photograph on Friday. Any advice?? The bride is VERY laid back which makes it a little easier, plus she is a friend of a friend. Wish me luck! :-)
