Listen to this!!!

In true baseball spirit! The opening game occurs Sunday! Very excited about the return of the World Champions!!! Although John and I will not be attending the game, we will be cheering on the Cards from the comfort of our couch or maybe a local sports bar (if I can talk him into it).

A Wedding Shower

This is my 3rd time trying to post this so now it will be short and sweet!!

Sat. afternoon I went to a wedding shower for Georgia (I used to work with her @ Morgan Stanley) @ Miss Amy B's in St. Charles. Cute place and good times! Here are some pics!!!

Other than that, we didn't do much. John watched every basketball game that was on and I did some more scrapbooking of course!!!

Corner of my Home

Well, I am giving into pressure and also going to be showing everyone a little tid bit of our home every week. This week you get a few to catch up and just b/c I don't feel like waiting to post them. So here we go....

1. The new chair cushions I made last night. That is right....the seat of these 2 chairs was just wood and not comfy at all. I couldn't find any cushions that I like so I decided to make my own from some foam and a outdoor table cloth. Turned out pretty cool I think and it is much more softer on the booty! :-)

2. A real corner of the house....the closet corner. This is J.J.'s new spot as you can tell. There is a basket in the corner that holds all of our winter scarves, hats and gloves. J.J. has recently found that this little basket is comfy for his naps. If we don't know where he is, we can always find him here!!!

3. SCRAPBOOKING!!!! I love it!!! However, I am so far behind. That was until a few weeks ago. I had left off with Karl and Kat's wedding. That was in August of f2005 people....and it is now March of 2007!!! Just a little behind.....but I have semi caught up. I am now on January of 2006....so doing better. But until I decided to take another break from the scrapbooking world this is what our table will look like!

Nothing to Update

There isn't much going on in the Robus household. We have just been chillaxin' recently and it has been good. I am loving the weather. In fact we ate dinner out on our balcony last night! I feel like I should be outside playing and not at work!!! Anyone want to join me???

Catch up

Since it has been awhile:

1. We spent a great weekend with Mom & Dad Robus! And celebrated b-days. And saw Kat's cousin Kristy!

2. Another week went by of work, dieting, and working out.

3. We had a weekend off. That means no traveling or visitors. We actually had a date night. We went to dinner and to see Wild Hogs - very funny!

4. Learned that my grandfather is going to have to have open heart surgery! Pray for him and the family! We will know when later this week.

5. My brother received and interesting injury, but it is ok. So not to worry. He is still able to play baseball and is fine. Long story!

6. March is now upon us. Does anyone else find that crazy?? It is already March 2007!!! I am ready for spring or even summer (may not that far yet).

7. What else is there??? I think that might be it. Anyone else have anything?
