About Me

My photo
I am a mother of two great and very different little girls and a wife of a great man. We try to live our lives to glorify God. Hendersonville, TN (just north of Nashville)is where we call home. John and I both love SEC football...just two different teams. Baseball is my favorite, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. We both cherish those close to us and strive to love God to our best ability daily.

Matthew & Jennifer's Rehearsal

July 2nd was the "practice" for the wedding. We had such a fun time and it went pretty quickly. :-) There are tons of good photos from the night so I am going to share them all. Just kidding that would take a while. Here are several of the favorites though!

Bridal Luncheon

Jennifer had her bridal luncheon at a little place called Serendipity. It was a cute tea room like place and we had a good time visiting before the wedding.

Another Baby Shower...with a twist

Some of our dear friends here in St. Louis shared with us that they were expecting shortly after Kelsey was born. You can imagine how very excited we were to both be having our first kiddos within a year of each other. Chad worked with John at his previous job and Julie and I became friends through the guys. Since we both are mommies now, we are even closer! :-)

Anyway, their little guy was born on June 7th (10 weeks early). Even though he came into the world sooner than expected, he is doing very well. Graham Edward has continued to gain weight and grow. In fact, I believe the nurses have been calling him the over-achiever.

So, I help Julie's family with a shower for her and Baby Graham a couple of weeks ago. We had a great time and Graham is set for when he is able to finally come home.

Keep the Hoffman's in your prayers as Julie has now returned to work and is anxiously awaiting the day she can take her little man home.

Pictures of Graham that were on the tables.

Julie and Kelsey.
John and I continue to talk about how blessed we are to have Julie and Chad as friends.
They love Kelsey so much and we can't wait to share the love with Graham.

John's 1st Father's Day

John didn't really want to do much, so we just hung out around the house and spent time as a family.
These are the only pics that I took and he didn't want me to do that. :-)

We made a photo frame at Paint Me Pottery with Kelsey's hand and foot prints.

Shower for Baby Lucy

A month ago now, we went to Memphis (well actually Olive Branch, MS). We went to catch up with friends from college and go to Baby Lucy's baby shower. Haylie was my college roommate and she is having their first little girl in July (anytime now!). We are so excited for them and I was happy to be able to share by going to her shower!
