About Me

My photo
I am a mother of two great and very different little girls and a wife of a great man. We try to live our lives to glorify God. Hendersonville, TN (just north of Nashville)is where we call home. John and I both love SEC football...just two different teams. Baseball is my favorite, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. We both cherish those close to us and strive to love God to our best ability daily.

Merry Christmas

John's parents came to St. Louis to celebrate Christmas this year. John wasn't able to take any time off so we couldn't go anywhere. It was great. We loved having Christmas at our place!! I even cooked Christmas dinner/lunch....with Elaine's help of course and it was really good!!

Putting together the St. Louis puzzle....it is of the New Busch Stadium. We finished and are going to have it framed.

Now this was my project this weekend (with a LITTLE of John's help). I re-did the bathroom!!! I love it!!! The new stuff was Christmas gifts from my mom and Nana!

And the AFTER!!!!

And I will end w/ J.J.'s new thing. He likes to drink out of the sink!

Lots Going on for the Robi

So it has been a while...and things are very busy for us. I have finished all the Christmas decorations (actually I did a week ago). John's parents came to visit last weekend and I was in a wedding this weekend. Amy was my college roommate and sorority sister. It was a wonderful wedding and we had fun with friends!

Thanksgiving & More

John and I were in Nashville for the holiday. We left Tuesday evening and spent Thanksgiving with all my family.

Wednesday night was Tgiving dinner w/ my mom's family. We ate lots of yummy food and played Wii. My 5 year old cousin, Emma, was better than my mom! :-)

Megan, me, Emma & Sydney all in the same chair. Aren't we cute!

Thursday we spent w/ my dad's side of the family. There aren't many pics from there (except for the 20 I took of Eli). Sadly, John had to head back to St. Louis to be at work on Friday. However, I stayed behind to do some shopping!
The cutest little boy I know - Eli.

Friday was shopping (and my mom and I babysat my little cousin Lilly)- Saturday was shopping - and Sunday was shopping. We somehow managed to take Saturday night to eat at Wendy's and go see Fred Claus....good movie.
Here is Emma w/ Wendy hair

And Mandy and I shopping on Sunday!
So - now that that is out of the way. What about the football this weekend. Arkansas beats LSU in overtime, TN beats Kentucky in overtime to go to the SEC Championship game, and Mizzou beats Kansas to be #1 in the nation. What a great football weekend! Then Huston Nutt gets canned - or quit - or whatever you want to say. I love football!!!

Monday, John and I went to the Blues hockey game. I got free tickets from work in the club...so we got free food and drink. We had a good time.

The little kids played hockey between the 1st and 2nd periods. Too cute.

So, now we are in TN for Thanksgiving and getting ready to go celebrate w/ my mom's family. Hope everyone has a great Turkey day and gets lots of deals on Black Friday!! :-)

My Team Won

Oh yeah!! That's right....Tennessee kicked the Razorbacks booties!!! It was wonderful, but that is all I will say as to not rub it in too much. :-)

Before the game - when we were both happy.

Yes - we were this close - seats were great!!!

A House Divided

That's right everyone - this is the weekend one weekend that one of us will not want to speak the the other. Arkansas is playing Tennessee @ Tennessee. Great for me b/c I get to go to Neyland Stadium (the last time I was there this game went into 6 overtimes). So while all will be fun....one of us will be very disappointed. Lot of pics will come.

For now, I leave you with the following fall pictures from Forest Park this past weekend.
