March 13-15 ~ Patton 1 and Friends
It was time for our annual trip. This year we decided to just stick to Memphis for several reasons. There was plenty to do and we had a great time catching up. I wish that we could do this more than just yearly.
First it was the duck march at the Peabody.
Then Saturday, we headed to Graceland. Here is Haylie, Alder and Kim w/ THE pink Cady.
Then we went to Tunica for some food at Paula Dean's buffet (YUMMY). Of course, there was a little gambling on the penny slots where I won $100. NOT KIDDING. But then we did some shopping and I spent it all. :-)
March 28 & 29 – We decided to go to Hendersonville for the weekend. Preston (my cousin's little baby) was having surgery the next week and we wanted to see him. Well that was our excuse anyway.
We went to Sydney and Emma's soccer games on Saturday.
Sydney
Lily and I watching the games.
We spent time with other family the rest of the day and had dinner at Chili's with some that night.
Sunday we went to Granny's for lunch. Kacie wanted me to take some pics of Preston. Here are a few. I still haven't had the time to edit them all.
April 8th – We went to the Cardinals game against the Pirates. This was the first series of the year and I got free tix from work. Good game but it was FREEZING so we left early.
April 11 -12 – Easter weekend…we went to Little Rock to celebrate John's grandmother's 91st birthday and Easter.
The 6 of us in Van Buren
I couldn't resist posting this pic of my inlaws. So cute!
Easter Sunday we spent in Little Rock.
My John bought Elaine and I "special" corsages for Easter.
April 22 – Cardinals vs Mets
Another Cards game already. Again I got the tickets from work. At least this time I took a few pictures.
April 23 – My brother celebrated his 24th birthday. Happy Belated bday Matthew!
April 25 – Yet another Cardinals game. BUT this time it was against the Cubbies! It was the perfect day and the perfect win.
Yadi received his Gold Glove from last season before the game.
Albert's Grand Slam Swing
Us at the game
That brings us to present day…FINALLY!!!
Now on to what everyone really cares about. Baby Robus!!! That is right….we are expecting Robus #1.I am now at 11 and feeling great!!! Baby is due to make its appearance on FRIDAY November the 13th. Of course we know that the likelihood of actually delivering on that day is slim to none. I am sure there are things I am forgetting so ask if you want. We are very excited and can't wait to get planning the nursery. We will find out the sex sometime mid June (18-20 weeks). There will be lots of updating about the babe from now on with maybe some stuff about us here and there.
I have an ultrasound pic, but blogger won't let me upload the pdf. Anybody know how to do that??? Or convert it to a jpeg??
