Patton 1 & Friends Reunion

Here are pictures from our "girls" weekend in Branson. We had a blast and really didn't do much but shop & sit around in our pj's and talk. It was good to catch up & we have dubbed this an annual trip now! So good to see all you girls!

Almost Friday!

I have been meaning to post the few pictures of the snow that I took this weekend. Of course, I haven't even loaded them onto my computer yet...so it would be difficult to post them. Maybe tonight.

So it is Thursday and I am leaving tomorrow for Branson. Why you ask...well it is a "Patton 1 & Friends" reunion. Patton 1 is my dorm in college. Therefore, my college roommates and the friends that were always in our room are having a much needed girls trip!! WOOO HOOO!!! The 5 of us will be spending the weekend lounging in our sweats and doing some shopping!!! Who knows what else might excite us when we get there. Don't worry b/c there will be a plethora of pictures when I return!!!

A relaxing weekend

WE HAD NOTHING TO DO THIS WEEKEND.....NO TRAVELING....NO OBLIGATIONS. SO, WE RELAXED, SLEPT IN AND WORE OUR SWEATS ALL WEEKEND (MOST OF IT ANYWAY). WE DID LEAVE THE HOUSE ONCE TO GO EAT DINNER SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE PASTA HOUSE....YUMMY. NOW IT IS SUNDAY NIGHT, THERE IS SNOW ON THE GROUND AND FOOTBALL ON TV.

The weekend in Little Rock

So....Friday we left work and headed for the airport to see John's family for a late Christmas. Our flight was scheduled to leave at 6:25. John and I get to the airport, check our bag, get through security and go to get some food. While eating our yummy overly price airport Burger King we hear an announcement saying all flights after 7:10 have been canceled. We were thinking, "Sweet, we are safe." So some more time passes and we get in line to board our plane. However, it isn't there yet. We are patiently waiting with all the other passengers...not thinking about the fact that we should already be on the plane. So 10 minutes before we are supposed to take off our flight is canceled. So we are now thinking that it is going to take us forever to get out pf there b/c we checked some luggage. At least that part was wrong. We were out of the airport and on the interstate within 45 minutes. We didn't get to the Rock until after 1:00 a.m. but it was a great visit. We got to see John's grandparents & parents and have a late Christmas (pictures to come) And also see Karl, Kat, Mike & Audra (pic above - playing darts, me excited when i got a bullseye, john and karl rapping, and more darts). We even learned how to plan a new game - Loaded Questions (we must buy this game and so should you).

Here are pictures from Bryan and Amber's wedding this past weekend. It was hard to decide what to post considering that I took over 500 pictures of the rehearsal, bridal luncheon, bridal party getting ready, pro pics before the wedding, the ceremony and reception. Amber told me to take pictures and I did just that.

Yes, we were in Memphis for a wedding this weekend. And yes, I took tons of pictures. BUT, I am too tired to go through them and edit them to put on here. So...for now you get a few pictures that I took in the car. These were taken somewhere in southern Missouri. With alot of editing they turned out pretty cool to be taken out the window of a moving car!

Hello 2007

So much for the 1st week of the year. It has come and almost left. Our New Year's Eve was spent at home, just the two of us, watching movies, and being sickly (John mostly here). In fact John didn't even make it until midnight! We were in Memphis for part of last weekend for a wedding, but I didn't take any pictures. Can you believe that...me...the picture queen....didn't take any pictures!

Anyway, we are headed back to Memphis this afternoon for yet another wedding, but there will be plenty-o-pictures as that is my job for the bride....to take pictures of everything. We will get to see lots of friends from college. Yeah for seeing old friends!!


Here is today's picture. I was going through some on my pc and remembered how much I love this picture. Especially since my cousins decided to change into jeans and leave on the top to the bridesmaids dresses!!! Classic....I have wonderful cousins!!!
