About Me

My photo
I am a mother of two great and very different little girls and a wife of a great man. We try to live our lives to glorify God. Hendersonville, TN (just north of Nashville)is where we call home. John and I both love SEC football...just two different teams. Baseball is my favorite, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. We both cherish those close to us and strive to love God to our best ability daily.

Our Baby GIRL!!!

Here are the ultrasound pics of our little girl at 23 weeks and 6 days. It is pretty cool to compare to the last ultrasound we had 4 weeks ago. She has grown alot. We get to go back in another 4 weeks for another b/c the tech was unable to get a good shot with the measurements of her feet. I (and I am sure John) won't complain if we get to see her again! :-)

Here she is looking straight forward. You can see her eye sockets and nose if you look closely.

Proof she is a girl. One day she may kill me for sharing this. :-)

Here is mom at 24 weeks and 3 days (Sunday).

5 yEaRs and 22 wEeKs

That is right...we celebrated our 5th anniversary on July 10th. And what did we do....what else but make a road trip to Chicago for the Cardinals/Cubs game! Yes I am the BEST wife ever!!! It was a blast and we got to see a winner.

Mom's future Cardinals fan! :-)

Friday night

After the game we went back to the hotel and decided that we had to get some Chicago style pizza. We went to Gino's East....so good. We got a small pizza and didn't even finish it...you can see the pizza below.

We wrote our names on the booth...but you can't see it here.

The deep dish!

Saturday in Chicago

Saturday we decided to just walk up/down Michigan Ave. It was good and we managed to not buy a single thing. We made it to Millennium Park and ate a picnic lunch and saw the fountain and the "bean".

Outside the Chicago Tribune

The bean

Around 2:00 p.m. I was tired and needed some rest. We went back to the hotel while the pregnant lady took a short nap. After that we headed down to the beach. Let me tell you it is a strange thing to be in a large city and there be a BEACH. See the picture below. Just seems weird to me. :-)

Then it was back to the hotel to change and go to dinner. We went to Hugo's Frog Bar! YUMMY. You should have seen our dessert. We didn't even eat half of it b/c it was so huge.

Sunday we made a stop at Ikea and bought some furniture for the nursery...now all we need is a rocker/glider and to know what baby Robus is so that we can paint! :-)

We had a wonderful anniversary and here is to MANY more for us. Love you, John!!!

Our 4th of July

Mom and Dad came to visit and brought my cousin Hailey! The plan was to do some baby shopping, BUT since Baby Robus didn't cooperate we didn't do too much of that. We did manage to make it to Carter's and buy some gender neutral stuff (and some girl stuff and some boy stuff just in case). We ate, hung out and did some more shopping. Then on the 4th we decided to go to the Kirkwood fireworks. John and I didn't know what to expect, but they were really good and the park was packed!!

Mom and Dad waiting for the show to start

WOW we actually got John smiling in one!! :-)

She is goofy!

The Arch w/ Hailey

Since this was Hailey's first time to St. Louis she wanted to go up in the Arch. I think this was my 7th time in the past 5 years. Every time someone comes to see us they want to go...so we go with them. We had a good time and I think that Hailey did as well.

The 3 of us at the bottom. I am 21 weeks preggo here.
Maternity clothes are NOT attractive. :-(
