About Me

My photo
I am a mother of two great and very different little girls and a wife of a great man. We try to live our lives to glorify God. Hendersonville, TN (just north of Nashville)is where we call home. John and I both love SEC football...just two different teams. Baseball is my favorite, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. We both cherish those close to us and strive to love God to our best ability daily.

Pics from the Weekend

So here are some pictures from our weekend in Hendersonville with my family! I took so many and we had a great time. These pictures are of my cousin's (Molly) graduation. It was incredibly long and boring but we stuck it out just for her. I went a little picture happy. There will be more of our Memorial Day adventures to come.

Hope everyone has a long weekend and enjoys the summer weather. We are heading to Hendersonville to see my family. My cousin, Molly, is graduating from high school. So congrats to her...I am sure there will be many pictures of the ceremony and party. Hopefully we will be able to see some college friends while we are there too. Happy Memorial Day to all!!!

The weekend

Well John's parents were here this weekend for graduation. Even though John completed all his classes back in December - the official ceremony was this weekend. He got to wear his hood and funky gown, so he was happy. Anyway - we had a great weekend. After graduation we took his parents to see the new Busch stadium and find John's brick! What a weekend. Hope everyone had a great one!!
Here is a picture of Lily (my new cousin) just because I felt like putting it on here!

Cards game last night!

We were able to go to the Cardinals game last night with one of John's fraternity brother. This was great, as I had not yet been to the new stadium. It was sad that the old one is gone, but the new Busch is very nice! Anyway...here are pictures.
Why my husband has this weird look...I do not know.

A busy weekend

Friday - Cinco de May celebration with the Oteys. There aren't any worthy pictures from our night. We actually were pretty boring anyway.

Saturday - Bday celebration for Brian! Happy 31. We went to the sports bar in the Casino to eat dinner. Of course that meant gambling after, where I walked out a little bit richer. Then it was off to Saddle Ridge for Karaoke. Which Brian was the only one who sang, but it was sure fun making fun of everyone.

Sunday - Church and then to the Zoo with the Otey's. It was a great day to be outside. We also got Ted Drewes after. Yummy!

Our shadows at Ted Drewes - I thought I was kind of cool

Here she is....

This is Lilly Beth. So sweet!!!

Updates -

1. The car has been found. They found it, of course, in the ghetto on Thursday night. It is still a process to get it fixed ans whatnot, as dealing with insurance usually is. But good that it was found and not stripped.

2. John laid around all weekend and watched the NFL Draft. Who cares! TN made a sucky pick though.

3. I went to Nashville to give a baby shower - pictures below. It is the first of us from High School to have a little one. Jacob Jones is due to enter the world June 18. Isn't mommy cute?

4. We have begun to look for a condo here in Saint Louis. It looks as though we will be staying here for a little while longer. We will keep you posted!

5. We are having a Cinco de Mayo party - well right now there are only two other people coming over. Anyway, anyone wants to come you are more than welcome. Isn't it worth the drive to come see us ;-)
