Tristan's Shower

John and I headed to Jackson, TN Saturday morning. I was giving Tristan a shower and he was meeting one of his college roommates for some guy time. It was a short trip but still had a good time.

I went to Nashville to give another wedding shower this weekend! But first on Friday night Mom, Dad and I went to my (and their) High School Homecoming. I hadn't been back to my High School since I graduated. It you weird, but we had a good time. Here is my cousin, Mandy and me @ the game. She spent the night with me after! So....much....fun.....

Saturday morning was the shower/brunch. It was great to see all the girls from High School and church!! We all had a wonderful time visiting and Andrea got great gifts for her and Derrick's new home!!

The 6 from High School!!

After the shower the 6 went our separate ways for a few hours. (I met my brother and had lunch and got a new cell phone) Then we all caught up at Nikki's house before we headed to Opryland Hotel for the night!!

Here we are in the elevator going to our room (minus Amanda who is taking the picture). We had such a good time catching up. It is a shame that we only get together for wedding and babies! But at least we are always able to begin where we left off! I left this weekend feel so encouraged by these girls. They mean the world to me. (by the way - we were up until 3 in the morning talking....that is all we did all night)

Sunday - I got up, met mom, dad, and Matt at Waffle House for breakfast before we went to watch Jennifer (Matt's gfriend) play soccer! It was senior day - hence the pic with her whole family.

Great weekend w/ Alder

That's right folks....the weekend was a huge success!!! Friday when I got to Hendersonville...I met my parents and uncle for dessert at Chili's. It was a good visit.

Saturday - lunch with Haylie, Kim, Alder and her fiance Cheynne. None of us from college had met him. Poor guy had to deal with all of us at once, but it was a good time. Saturday evening and night was the lingerie/bachlorette party for Ms. Amy Alder. Good times....good pics to come later!

Sunday was lunch with the fam before I headed back.

Now I will try to catch up on some rest before I go back this weekend and do the shower thing for another!! So exciting!!!

John just sat at home and watched football and got mad at the Razorbacks!!

Let the craziness begin

So my calendar is now beginning the "crazy" phase. And yes it is really just me, John is getting left behind for most of this....so, if anyone wants to visit him in the Lou while I am elsewhere go for it. Now, don't get me wrong, I am very blessed to be involved in so much in the future. I love my friends and am very excited about all the weddings/showers etc....

By the way we went and ate at Busch's Grovelast night ( I won a $100 gift card). It is supposed to be one of the best restaurants in St. Louis. It was pretty yummy!!

Another weekend has come and gone....

John's parents came to visit this weekend. We had a great time. Friday we went to watch Corey play football again and then to dinner with the Austin family. It was great to spend time with them all.

Saturday we got breakfast and then went shopping. After lunch, Elaine and I took the guys back home to watch football while we continued to shop. We both found some great deals!! Dinner was at Amici's (an Italian place in Kirkwood) then dessert @ Coldstone. That is where we took this pictures!

Sunday, I had to go to the Ram's game and collect $$ for Susan G. Komen/Breast Cancer Awareness. I have got involved with the ZTA alumni group here and this was our first fundraiser this year. Here I am with a bunch of the local collegiate ZTAs outside the stadium.

Our weekend at Home

For a change we were in St. Louis for the weekend w/ no plans!! Friday night we went and watched Corey play football again.

Saturday was "Fall Cleaning"...kind of anyway. I cleaned out the storage area downstairs (and did a pretty good job) and John re-caulked the bathroom. Sounds like a lot of fun, doesn't it???

Sunday we went to church and then I came home and reorganized the kitchen....just to see this that evening when I went in there.

Apparently John put some dish soap on a pan to soak and then put in in the dish washer. The extra soap caused extra bubbles all over the floor! We laugh now.

And this is was J.J. did all weekend. We don't now what, but he enjoys laying on his back quite often!!
