About Me

My photo
I am a mother of two great and very different little girls and a wife of a great man. We try to live our lives to glorify God. Hendersonville, TN (just north of Nashville)is where we call home. John and I both love SEC football...just two different teams. Baseball is my favorite, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. We both cherish those close to us and strive to love God to our best ability daily.

7-4-08 Tim McGraw and Fireworks

We spent our July 4th at a Timmy Mac concert (that would be Tim McGraw). The concert was great. Jason Aldean opened for him...he too was wonderful. After the concert there were even fireworks. They were better than what we expected.

7-12-08 - Mom & Dad in the Lou

My parents came to visit a few weeks ago. It was great to have them here. We did some shopping, chilled and went to the brewery. We had a great time and can't wait for them to visit again!

6-28-08 Six Flags & Third Day

We bought tickets to see Third Day at Six Flags with Georgia and Scott (I worked with Georgia at Morgan Stanley). Since we had to pay to get into the park we decided we should ride some roller coasters while we were there. We went after lunch and got a good bit of fun in before the concert started at 7:00. Third Day was awesome and I wish I could see them all the time. Georgia and I even got one more ride in after the concert. We always have a great time when hanging out with the Snodgrasses.

On the Evil Kanevil roller coaster.
Georgia and Scott are in the very front and I am in the second row.
John chose to sit this one out and took the pic as we came over the hill.

I couldn't resist posting this picture. My mom always calls everyone a Goob (aka goober). So, when we saw this church van we couldn't help but take this picture. Mom, this one is for you! :-)

6-27-08 - A night at the muny

For Administrative Professionals day my boss gave me a gift certificate to the Muny. For those of you who don't know the Muny is an outdoor amphitheatre where they have plays all summer long. We chose to see High School Musical. We didn't really know much about it, just that the crowd was likely to be a whole bunch of little girls. It was, but we still had a great time. The weather was not too hot and the play was great. We even knew some of the songs from my cousins Emma
and Sydney.

6/22/08 - Chicago Concert

First of all....we have our computer back AND it works now. So now on with updating everyone with the events of our lives.

Back in June (seems like so long ago now)...I drug John to the Doobie Brothers/Chicago concert. I got free tickets from a vendor at work and really wanted to go. John couldn't have cared less, but the tix were free. I loved it! Here we are waiting for the concert to start.

No Computer

So apparently the HP Pavilion Notebook that we bought last year is having some problems. Luckily HP caught onto this and extended the warranty b/c of it. This means no pics for a while. I have so much catching up too. I can never stay ahead of the game.

We had a great long weekend and enjoyed some R&R by the pool. We also we to a Tim McGraw concert...it was wonderful. (For those of you who don't know...I kinda like Timmy Mac!)
