All Smiles

Kelsey is such a happy little girl (unless she is hungry or tired). I never fully understood what it meant to see your little one smile/laugh at you until this. I can't get enough!!

We are heading to Little Rock this weekend. We are flying with Kelsey, so say a little prayer for us. I think she will be fine, but you never know. It is only a 45 min flight so it won't be too bad. There are lots of people waiting to meet our little girl there. Then next week...I am back to work. :-( So we are trying to get all the time we can just hanging out this week and making sure that everything is ready for daycare. I am sure there is something I will forget.

Our days...

I just thought that I would put some pics up from the past few days. I am trying to enjoy my last couple of weeks at home with Kelsey. We found a sitter!!!! Yippeee!!! An older lady who will only be watching Kelsey. We are lucky!

Our burrito baby. She has to be wrapped up to sleep b/c she moves around too much and wakes herself up. :-)

Kelsey is 2 months (and a little extra)

We went for Kelsey's 2 month check up on Friday. She was 10 lbs 2 oz (24%) and 22 inches long (49%). She is growing, but still our little girl at this point.

- Kelsey is now wearing her 0-3 month clothes. However, most of the pants are still too big in the waist. Nothing to do about that, b/c newborns are WAY too short.
- She smiles all the time and trys so hard to talk. Sometimes she gets a few ohs and ahs out. Everyday it seems like there is a new noise that comes out.
- She is eating 6 oz bottles 5 times a day. I am surprised she is only 10 lbs!!!
- She has slept through the night a few times. It is usually on the weekends when it is Daddy's turn to get up, but we will take what we get. :-)
- She LOVEs to play on her play mat with the toys hanging above here. She moves all around and hits at them so that the music will play.
- We had to add toys to her car seat to entertain her. She no long automatically falls asleep in the car.
- We have put her in her bumbo seat for a few minutes a few times now. Her head is still a little wobbly so she can't stay in it long just yet.
- She wants to turn over so bad when laid on her stomach. She can get her bottom half over, but can't yet figure out how to get her arm out of the way.
