Happy Birthday to Johnny!!!

John's parents are on their way to the Lou as I type! They are coming to celebrate John's bday tomorrow. Happy 1-day-early 26th Bday! I love you!!!

This weeks update

I still haven't loaded the pictures from this past weekend in Nashville to my PC. I need to do that. We went to see my brother play baseball and the SNOW FOLLOWED US THERE!! That is right he games on Saturday were SNOWED out. There was only about and inch or two, but you know who the south shuts down at just the word of snow.

We ended up being able to see my cousins play indoor soccer and some basketball. Spent more time with family and then went to Maggianos (sp) for dinner. It was yummy and took us like 3 hours to eat all the food. So yum!!

Sunday it was time to play baseball. Matt ended up playing a double header and did very well (and had a homerun!!) . It is kind of sad b/c it is his senior year. John and I are going to try and make a few more trips to watch him play! Note: This picture is from last year...I think.

On the note of baseball....I am ready for it. I guess it is part of my spring fever. This wonderful weather we have been getting this week and watching Matt last weekend had made me want to be at the ballpark. It is time to hear the Budweiser Victory Song!! Here is a picture of us taken at old Busch right before the end of the season.

OK so here is the picture of the day - just b/c feel like posting a pic and I don't have any from last weekend and it is really cute. This is my brother with my cousin's son, Eli. Eli has on Matt's baseball hat as you can tell. Aren't they cute??

1. We have 4-5 inches of snow. I love it. It is wonderful.

2. It is too cold here!!! The low tonight is in the single digits!!!

3. John and I celebrated Vday last night w/ a wonderful dinner at Citizen Kane's (a steakhouse not far from our house). It was YUMMY!!!

4. I got 18 long stemmed roses and a box of chocolates delivered to me at work this A.M. from my most wonderful and amazing hubby!!!

5. My grandfather, who has been in the hospital w/ heart problems, got to go home yesterday! He is doing fine thanks to all the prayers!!!

6. We are headed to see my family this weekend. My brother's baseball season starts Saturday and we will be there for the opening game. It is too cold for baseball if you ask me!

Snow and Cold Weather

The coldness is no fun, but I do enjoy the snow. It snowed again last night. Not a whole lot, but enough to make is pretty. These pictures are actually from a couple of weekends ago when it snowed. We decided to go play before we went to bed.....it was really cold and the playing didn't last long!
