About Me

My photo
I am a mother of two great and very different little girls and a wife of a great man. We try to live our lives to glorify God. Hendersonville, TN (just north of Nashville)is where we call home. John and I both love SEC football...just two different teams. Baseball is my favorite, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. We both cherish those close to us and strive to love God to our best ability daily.

The New Car!

I am slacking a blogging (which I usually do).

John's Jeep was stolen AGAIN (see here for the last time). This time it was from our parking area at the condo. Two other cars were tampered with as well. We woke up to a police man ringing our doorbell one morning. Better than going to get in the car and it not being there I guess. So, basically this force us to buy a new care because they still haven't found it.

Long story short here - - - Jeep was used to try and steal other cars in North County. The cops pulled into the parking lot where the kids were trying to get the other cars and they sped away in John's Jeep. We have been told that there was a accident (with the Jeep and cop car) and a high speed chase. Who really knows thought. It doesn't matter to us b/c the insurance company gave us $$$ and counted it a total loss. So we just bought a new car today....Nissan Rouge and I LOVE IT!!!!

Family comes to see us!!!

Our Labor Day weekend was spent with lots of family. My mom, dad, Aunt Beth, Uncle Kelly, their 3 girls (Emma, Sydney & Lily) and my cousin Taylor all came to visit. We had a wonderful weekend packed with lots to do!

Saturday we woke up and had breakfast at IHop. Then it was off to the Zoo. It was a hot day, but we still had a lot of fun. The girls are very entertaining and fun. We were all very tired after the fun at the zoo. We stayed low key and got pizza for dinner and went swimming at the hotel that night.

Sunday

We all met up Sunday morning at our house so the girls could play some rock band. They loved it!!!

Sydney, Lily and Emma

The girls and guys then went their separate ways. John took Uncle Kelly and my Dad around to look at condos in the area. The girls headed out to go shopping. After all that is what we do best.

Sydney and me playing with the hats at the jewelry store.

Then we met up with the guys at the mall for a light lunch and to do some more shopping.

The girls even rode the little cars in the play area.

Lily and I shopping.

After shopping we rested back at the house and played some more Wii. Then it was off to downtown for dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory.

We were celebrating Mom, Emma and my birthdays. So they sang to us and brought ice cream with candles. The singing was so loud that is scared Lily.

Little Rock

Here are some more pictures from our trip to Little Rock last weekend. We visited the Hills family TWICE and I didn't take a single picture of Nate. Not like me at all. Maybe we will see them again sometime really soon!!

Berry/Clark Wedding

Last weekend we traveled to Little Rock for many reasons....one being the wedding of our friends from college, Elisabeth and David. The wedding was at John's church and his pastor officiated. It was beautiful, simple and elegant wedding. The bride was beautiful, food/cake was yummy, and we were able to see several of our friends from Union.
